Twins Club Fall Festival

DSC_0074

So of course we had to dress up for the Holidays…one of many outfits we ended up with but this was our “costume”   Yes, ducks…this was a pic taken at the Louisville Mother of Twins Club annual Fall Festival.  A great time was had by all and our boyfriends were dressed as ducks too…it was too funny…Katherine put them in hightops so when we took pics of them together we could tell them apart.

Well that’s short but sweet.   Gotta run. Doing my first ever craft show this Friday.  Join us at the Highland Community Ministries Fall Festival Friday November 12th – 4- 7 pm.   Vendor and lots of great items in a silent auction.  One of my best friends daughters attends daycare there so this is to support them!    Hope to see you there.

Finally....

Ok, so it's taken me a while but I've finally managed to get some of my goodies up on my blog to sell.   Please take a look at my Gifts/Shopping page for a sample of some of the current items I'm making.   I'd love to personalize something for you....

While I'm not working on your orders I'm keeping busy making all kinds of fun stuff for my girls.   The latest project of mine have been A-line holiday dresses...Halloween, Thanksgiving and of course Christmas!   They are sooooo cute...and like I said above I'd love to make one for you too.   Above is a picture of the great halloween dresses I made my girls.   Aren't they sooo cute?  The girls and the dresses!!!

I have to make a side note of thanks to my hubby working so hard so I can stay at home with my girls.  They are wonderful...and I love having time to craft for them.    And giving me time to share it with others as well.

Beginning to Blog

So, I've decided it's time to start a blog to share all of my adventures in crafting and raising my two beautiful baby girls. I have loved to craft all my life. I also venture to build things too. Yes, I once built a kitchen table because I couldn't find one that fit perfectly into my little house. I've put up crown molding, made my oldest stepdaughters headboard and nightstand for her first apartment and much more. You name it, I'll try to make it! So when I found out I was having twin girls I couldn't wait to work on their room. I painted a tree on the wall in their reading/play area, my mom made all of their bedding (I wasn't patient enough to sew these :)), painted some old dressers to match the room and more. The room has turned out perfect and I just love it. Now that that is done and they are here, I have started more crafting. I joined in a craft group in the neighborhood and one of my fellow crafters and I are planning to sell our products at the Ballard High School Bazaar this December. Hope you all can stop by and see us. We've got some cute stuff. Check out the My Projects page for some photos of what I've been working on.
